Biography
Riaz Altaff Hussien is a seasoned business leader with over two decades of experience in global commodities, trade structuring, supply chain operations, and strategic expansion across emerging and developed markets. He has built and led commercial platforms across commodity trading and operating businesses, with expertise in trade execution, procurement, logistics, risk management, and cross-border structuring, while integrating sustainability and responsible sourcing practices such as traceability and long-term resource stewardship into commercial decision-making.
Alongside his professional career, Riaz has consistently balanced competitive sport at the highest level, reflecting discipline, resilience, and leadership under pressure — qualities that define his approach to business. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from RMIT University.
